Pi-Star/MMDVM troubleshooting

I’m hoping someone here might point me in the right direction for troubleshooting my MMDVM hotspot. I had not used it in a few weeks and yesterday when I went to use it, the screen lit up but it never got to the operating screen (time, frequencies, etc.). I thought maybe the software was corrupt, but I tried re-imaging the SD card with no change.

I have an MMDVM hotspot with 2.4-inch Nextion Display
Operation Board: Raspberry Pi Zero W
Modem: MMDVM Board
Screen: 2.4 Nextion NX3224T
Memory Card: SanDisk Ultra 16G SD Card
Operating System: Pi-Star_RPi_V4.1.5_30-Oct-2021

On your PiStar dashboard, make sure that the settings for screen show Nextion and also should be another drop down next to that called "port" and make sure "modem" is selected. I had this happen to me as well and thought the same thing, discovered that this setting changed for some reason...

I'll check, but right now I can't even get to the dashboard. I'll see if I can hook it up to a monitor to see if I get anywhere. I'm thinking it's more than just a display issue.

Just an update:

I was able to hook a monitor up to the hotspot and could see it actually booting, but I couldn't figure out the settings to get the Nextion display to work. However...I was able to contact the gentleman that sold me the hotspot and he was able to send me the original configuration files. So I'm back up!
