A Pi-Star version upgrade, not Dashboard, to rc7: v4.1.0 rc7 / 20191206.

Recommend using sudo commands.

New rc7 image file available for download if desired, no longer have to download rc4 and update.

No. Do a config backup then download the 4.1.0 rc7 image file. Follow the regular yellow brick road to get it onto the SD card, then copy the ZIP config file to the SD card root.

What I guess I should have said was one previous had to install a 4.1.0 rx- image to move up from 4.0.x. Until today the latest 4.1.0 was rc4... which had to be updated.

I redid the sudo commands after seeing your post. Apparently those of us in the Telegram group caught the rc7 upgrade and update at midpoint early Friday *before* the Dashboard changes were made available later in the day. Thanks.

I just completed the update/upgrade this morning. Dashboard update was lengthily while the upgrade from rc6 to rc7 was just a blink of the eye. Go figure...
