Could I pinch the Arrival & Departure frequencies for PIA from someone on here.

Also, Does anyone know which frequencies airplanes use when flying over Burlington Ont?
I think the escarpment and north the pilots use the Burlington Airpark frequency.
Do I use Grimsby Lo or Oakville for Toronto Centre or Kitchener?
I was promised a book to explain this to me but the person kinda flaked off on me each time I tried to get in touch with him.

TIA for the PIA info.

Thanks WZ.
I cant put my finger on it but it seems like sometimes I hear planes departing PIA on Arrival and vice-versa.
I checked my scanner, I have the frequencies in like your list.

???
Not having the best day, up to my eye-balls in numbers (f-in inventory recallibration)

Well, it depends at what altitude the aircraft is flying at and the service they are using. For example, I'm on 126.7 in uncontrolled airspace but if I request flight following (ATC radar services) then it's 133.4 (east) or 119.3 (west.) However just beyond 5 nautical miles of Burlington Airpark with an intention to land, depart or cross over the airfield then make a general call to burlington traffic on 123.5. Also within 5NM stay on 123.5. You can also call Burlington unicom on that frequency to get an airport advisory about traffic patterns and the amount of aircraft traffic. And this is only VFR traffic. Add in IFR and high-level flights...

FWIW, at least a few of the frequencies are wrong for sure on canairradio.com. A quick glance caught Muskoka Airport is actually 122.3. Muskoka AWOS is 124.575.

126.7, cool I will throw it in there.

As a pilot, when do you have to switch over to Hamilton's airspace at low-alt?
I have heard planes calling Hamilton when they are around the skyway and if they venture west they call KW, if east on towards Toronto they call your eastern frequency.
On occasion I see small planes at low altitudes calling 123.5 (Burlington air park) right as they approach the escarpment.

Its too bad, I was promised a wonderful flight plan map but again, the member here flaked out, hope nothing hapenned to him.

You switch over whenever ATC tells you to. :) You generally call up an airport just beyond 5NM of reaching there. In the case of burlington, you don't have to, but at larger airports like Hamiton, Buttonville, etc. you'll get a good speaking-to and maybe even a bad mark on your record at transport canada if you don't have permission to enter the airport control zone.

Hamilton CYHM
ATIS 128.1
Ground 121.6
Tower 125.0 / 119.7
Arrivals/Departures 128.27 (Toronto Terminal)
