Does anyone have a list of the simplex national VTAC frequencies that Pickens County uses? The database shows VCALL, VTAC10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 36, and 37.
This is what I found:

VHF National Interoperability

136.5 PL is used on the transmit frequencies for mobile repeaters

158.7375RM156.7 PLVTAC34VTAC34 - RepeaterFMNInterop
159.4725RM156.7 PLVTAC35VTAC35 - RepeaterFMNInterop

The database for Pickens County shows a VTAC10 which doesn't exist on this list. 11/36 and 12/37 show together. I don't know if they use input or output frequencies for simplex or if Pickens County is using PL tones. Thanks for your help!

the v tac channels were/are used primarily for on scene communications, mainly v tac 11. v tac 12 was used to communicate between on scene and life net, med trans, and life flight. Law enforcement, EMS, and Easley fire have already transitioned to the fleet talk platform with county fire to move over in the very near future, so the v tac channels are not going to be used anymore that i am aware of unless they go back to vhf as a back up system.

I suspect that the VTAC channels may still be needed for some fireground ops. There are only 3 sites in Pickens County. Do you know if the new radios are dual band?

The radios they are going to are uhf radios, they currently/were on are vhf. I believe the equivalent of v tac on uhf is u call channels. The new radios are uhf only and not dual band.
