Hi
I was searching with my scanner this afternoon and picked up 293.7000 .
I searched the net for that freq. and found out that it's the OPNS; operations frequency for Fairchild AFB out of spokane, WA. Heard a couple of planes approaching the base. Got one callsign, stardot calling for expo83. Will keep listening for more comm's, cool.
Also can pick up the freq's at 311.0000, 319.4000, 238.9000 and 321.0000. Has anyone in NW montana picked up other milair freq's in this area?

Stardot was an callsign for a plane I was hearing and it was calling for expo83 which I think
is the Fairchild OPNS dispatcher. I belive the plane had 12 passengers on board or that was the other plane. I remember reading somewhere on the net that fairchild opns dispatchers use expo for a call sign. Could not hear the dispatcher. I know they are on low power, around 10 watts, line of sight. Fairchild is 95.8 nm away from me.

Check this out

As an Air force air traffic controller, I stumbled on this publication about 6 years ago, It is now posted at this link below, though it is updated every 4 months as all pub's are, they haven’t changed at all over the 6 years I have been listening. Just put in the primary frequency for each of the routes near you, and don't discount the ones farther away, you can hear them for several hundred miles with just a modest setup.
