Picking up a new scanner from Uniden in Ft. Worth?

Has anyone ever bought a scanner directly from the Ft Worth location? I would like to get the 396T but I also would like to go in person and avoid shipping issues. Is this possible? Any Uniden employees here that could answer this?

I think it would be impossible until their next boat from China arrives.

Paul said that their entire shipment came into the facility and promptly left within a 36 hour period.

Even if they had them, I don't know that they sell directly to the public.

We only sell through distribution (exception being "B" stock merchandise that has been factory refurb'd...but no 396T's in that category).
