Pickwick Area Frequencies

Any suggestions on monitoring while at Pickwick Lake? I assume the Hardin County and McNairy County frequencies would be good to punch in. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, if anyone knows for sure which frequencies are actually in use by the Pickwick Landing state park rangers, I would appreciate the info. Ditto for the TVA I guess.

Try 453.250 for Pickwick Landing State Park. Does anybody know if TN State Parks still use 151.160 for anything?

TVA Police has gone digital and encrypted.

Pickwick Lock may be heard on Channel 16, 156.800. The vessel will call the lock on Ch-16. Then listen for the lock to direct the vessel to another channel. Seems like they use Channel 13, 156.650, most of the time, however, I may be wrong.

Might I suggest that you listen out for the National Park Service's Shiloh National Military Park on 164.425. I wonder if they have moved into the digital relm like some other NPS parks have done. A visit to Shiloh, will no doubt be interesting if you like history!
