    We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

    If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Pike/San Isabel NF Frequencies

Does anybody know, or have more detailed informaton the the frequencies used by these national forests? So far I have only been able to turn up these two: 168.725 for Pike and 169.900 for San Isabel.

from an old scan colorado dated 2001 pike national forest 166.575 repeated. 168.600 tac 3 . 168.725 repeated and simplex rangers fire etc. 169.900 secondary/repeated simplex. san isabel 164.825 repeated.. 168.600 pike/ san isabel tac 3. 169.900 rangers/maint. i'm not sure if is list is current.
