Hey There,
Just curious if anyone can receive the Pinal P25 system from greater Tucson? I've had no luck on a stock antenna. Do you need to be in the Marana area or have a higher beam antenna?

Thanks

Since almost all of it is encrypted you won't hear much anyways except for Casa Grande Fire and the dog catcher.

Well, um you never know, new TGs pop up now and then :sneaky:. Anyway, to the original question?
Sounds as though you’re less than enthusiastic about being confronted by the reality that what you want to listen to isn’t going to actually take place. Even if you possess the financial means necessary to lease a small footprint on a satellite in a fruitless effort to receive or capture an encrypted signal that anyone with an IQ even remotely north of ninety knows isn’t possible, the end result will of course remain the same. “Anyway, to the original question?” comes across as just a tad bit flip and at worst, demonstrates a rather defiant display of an action (the encrypted channel or channels you so desperately want to monitor) that NONE OF US have any control over! An encrypted agency MAY decide to offer a time delayed scanner feed (primarily, their dispatch channel or frequency) but again, they‘re the ones who have sole discretion over whether or not that even happens in the first place.

VHF on Lemmon would mainly hot calls. Only the initial dispatch was patched. Remaining traffic stayed on local VHF.

Pinal still has Lemmon on trunked system. Give that a try?
