Pinellas County fire and ems storm condition 6 hurricane Helena ?

So yesterday during hurricane Helena the county went into storm condition 6 they said no more fire or ems dispatches and the scanner went quiet does anyone know what this is??

well i dont know the specific however usual response policies with such storms is at a certain point they will pull all emergency services off the road and hunker down til the conditions improve. So if you are stuck outside or in need of help you are basically SOL!!

• Condition 2 - Limited Traffic
• Condition 3 - Emergency Traffic Only on Fire Tac A. Units go available as soon as possible. Stand-by for move ups.
• Condition 4 - Single Engine Response for all Automatic Fire Alarms.
• Condition 5 - Storm Condition. All of the above, and local departments may assist with dispatching. EOC may be activiated.
• Condition 6 - PSAP inoperative.

I know at some point they were dispatching storm related calls via the individual cities using the Low Priority talkgroups. Might have to do something with that.
