I recently manually did the update to my RS-668/WS-1080 and until i did the update I was hearing all the Sheriffs channels. I'm hearing Largo Ch.1, SPPD, FD1A but no Sheriff traffic. I'm thinking they're on a different system. I did the upgrade through Whistler a couple of years ago and its been great. I see a post 12/21/24 regarding the system is this the change? TIA

Pinellas County is a simulcast system. Your WS1080 is susceptible to simulcast distortion.

I understand the issue of distortion with this receiver. The receiver has been working great I watch it all the time as it switches from "T" and "S" and I've been able to hear PCSO on all their channels prior to the manual library upgrade. I am not receiving any traffic from PCSO.
The receiver hears SPPD and switches between T and S fine ,DMR etc. I suspect they switched to a different mode.

No. If it was working prior to you updating then the issue is likely with your programming. Nothing has changed on PCSO's end.

did you put the radio back to the exact same spot and no other changes ?
even a better antenna changes things.
