Pinellas/St Petersburg rebanding/digital

Im getting ready to buy a new scanner, but after reading posts in this forum regarding pinellas...not sure if i should buy digital or analog for now. Any ideas on how soon pinellas will go digital? And if so, to what extent. My interest is primarily St Pete PD/County fire and Ems. Any input is appreciated

Get digital capable scanner. Will pay off int he long run once the switch is complete.
