This has been a curiosity of mine ever since I started monitoring the Pinellas P25. I have 2 scanners that I use quite frequently, a pro-164 and a Pro-106. Now I know that PCSO simulcasts onto the project 25 system. I have the analog system in the 164 and the P25 in the 106.
When scanning with both scanners I run into the curiosity that either I will not pick up the digital simulcast on my pro-106 or ill pick up the simulcast but not the original analog on my 164.
Both scanners are set for Dispatch 1 yet either one or the other will not receive the dispatch, is this a problem with the systems or a problem on my end and how do I fix it if it is?
(I keep the scanners a 1/4 wave apart in case its interference)
