Getting about an S4 here. Love listening to radio that isn't on the standard AM/FM/Sat dial. HF!

WMPR on now, 8/20/2010 @ 0200Z. Playing music.

35333 signal into Minneapolis, MN. Varies from in the noise to pretty decent signal (S2-S7)

That's a pretty popular Pirate freq.

This guy was the old "Pig Radio", I think.

"Next Thursday" shows up there, also.

way back when, when the old tube rigs that covered 40 meters were used, that crystal (6925 MC/s) was part of the BC1306 supplies and other Crystal sets distributed by the Military and spawned Pirate hangouts

I used them on 80 (3725) and 40 CW Novice bands in early 50's in my single 6Lg rig
;-).

I hear proof of music there but so buried in noise floor. I use a Boston center channel speaker for audio and I am only picking up the bass.

Surfing around I found Pirate Radio Chat from the HFunderground site:

JavaChat

I guess Pirates and Listeners camp here and on 6925 and when there is activity it is announced. I was chatting with Radio GA GA @ 0030Z and he keyed up and said hello guest5 (me) and followed with a Portion of Queen Radio GA GA, then singing.

Interesting first Pirate log. Wish I had a recording
