Just got them out my way.. Female announcer. Using AM instead of USB.. +20dB here. Sent an SSTV image then signed off at 02:37 UTC. Kind of an odd time.

I was slow firing up the decoding software (MMSTV) so I only got the bottom bit of the image.

I think I had it on USB, Nice try on the sstv Image I keep forgetting to start the SSTV decode and leave it run in the background so I catch it.

Most of the pirates I've seen lately seem to be using sideband. I was surprised to see a carrier so I punched AM.

But you can can listen to just one of the sidebands. I do that often when signals get weak or crowded. It's particularly effective on the AM broadcast band.

Yes I do the same thing on AM I switch between AM-SAM and even try USB OR LSB, it can make a big difference sometimes.
