CAVEAT: I am just visiting here. One day only. These are just observations - nothing more.
A few things I've noticed - reference the Pittsburg County RR Page
I've heard nothing on the 4 Pittsburg County Sheriff conventional 800 or the two low band frequencies
154.370 is being heard with a 110.9 tone (vs. 192.8 listed in the database) -- based on the locations I've heard being discussed on the radio (business 69) etc. pretty sure this is Pittsburg County.
154.875 - Pittsburg Fire - nothing heard.
153.2375 Pafford EMS - Active - DB is correct.
Nothing heard on the 3 Emergency Management or Roads freqs.
Air Evac (152.9525) is a lot busier than I expected. DB is correct.
McAlester PD 155.715 is correct. Nothing heard on any of the other "city of McAlester" frequencies.
Kiowa Police and fire 800 conventional - nothing heard.
Rural Fire Dept freqs - nothing heard.
Penitentiary - DB is correct.
question ---- TROOP D of the Okalahoma Highway Patrol is listed as being stationed here in McAlester.
does anyone know which of the OKWIN P25 sites do they use? Or are they still VHF? (I am asking because from my vantage, I cannot hear any OKWIN sites in McAlester)
regards,
doug
