Pittsburgh Police - Channel 3?

Hello everyone,

Earlier this week I was listening to Pittsburgh Police and heard the dispatcher tell officers to go to channel 3 for what I believe was a SWAT situation.

I looked here in the database section and elsewhere online and I cannot find the frequency or any reference to channel 3. Does anyone know about this channel?

Channel 3 should be zones 4 and 5 - 453.400

I had Zones 4/5 scanning, but I didn't hear anything on that channel regarding the SWAT situation. I know Channel 4 is Index, Channel 5 is Ops, and Channel 8 is Admin. That's why I didn't think of Zones 4/5 being Channel 3. Thanks for the reply!

My guess is that it may be a tactical channel thus line-of-sight that doesn't get played through a repeater and you were too far away. Just guessing.
