Pittsylvania Co E911 feed

Hey all,

Just listening to the PittCo E911 feed onine. Have noticed what sounds like digital feed followed by a beep... Have some pd's switched to something new?

Pittsylvania County has had encryption for years, that is the white noise you hear followed by a beep. The town police in Chatham, Gretna, and Hurt do not have that capability. The 700 Mhz system is in developmental stage, hopefully online in a year or so.
