PL 880 problem.

Just noticed today that the display lights up randomly, even when the radio is off. Anybody else have had this happen?

Do you have the Display Light switch toggled AUTO OFF or ON?

Also an extended press on the 5 key toggles the light off and on. Might be that.

Haven’t had time to check out your suggestions. Will try that and repost with findings. Thanks.
