Placer County's plan to deal with natural emergencies such as floods, wildfires and severe winter storms will be updated early next year and officials are inviting comments from interested groups or individuals.
The updated plan will cover Placer County; public agencies such as fire, water and public utility districts; state and federal agencies; and the cities of Auburn, Colfax, Lincoln, Rocklin and Loomis. Roseville is doing a separate plan.
The current plan is available online at http://www.placer.ca.gov -- go to "Emergency" -- or from the Placer County Office of Emergency Services.
