I'm not hearing Placerville PD Dispatch anymore on VHF. Anyone know what's up?
I checked the FCC Database site, no joy.

When was the last time you heard them? I know I have heard traffic there, but don't remember how recently.

It might have been the end of last week, I heard one xmsn on Mon, but it didn't seem dispatch related.
Best I can recall.

The answer: I turned the PL off and started hearing them OK. I did a PL search and came up with 167.9
That is what I originally had in my scanner. Entered that and everything is OK now. Don't know the answer!
Sorry for the false alarm guys :-(

they could have migrated to an 700/800 Trunk System question is are the VHF channels completely silent?
I have talked to the people who handle communications for El Dorado County and can assure you that PPD (and EDSO) have no plans to depart from analog VHF. P-Ville (and the whole county for that matter) is far too mountainous to benefit from 7/800 anyway.
