There is no Plainfield or Plainfield County in the State of New Hampshire.....

Plainfield NH is the next town south of Lebanon NH along the CT River. It's just another one of these little yahoo towns out in the middle of nowhere that few people have heard of.

Plainfield NH PD is dispatched by Hanover NH on 155.595 MHz, analog and P25. Hanover is the next town north of Lebanon along the CT River. The city of Lebanon NH is busy enough on 155.250 (repeater, analog and P25) that their dispatch center can't provide coverage for Plainfield. Also the lay of the land is such that radio coverage from Hanover to Plainfield is often better than from Lebanon to Plainfield due to hills in the way which line the CT river valley. Hanover's radio coverage is practically direct line of sight to Plainfield compared to Lebanon's due to the hills. Hanover's radio coverage shoots right down the CT River valley to Plainfield.

Plainfield NH is in Sullivan county in NH, IIRC.
