Last night while driving a friend of mine home I heard on the Plainfield Police main channel " go over to the other channel it's busy right now " So since I was right next to Plainfield Police headquarters when I heard this transmission I went to my close call mode on my handle Uniden 996 and bang. We found them on 153.800 PL 118.8 so now we have the Plainfield Police secondary channel it seems they run some special operations there to and yes folks it is rare when I run into something.

I Have Plainfield Police primary lock on another radio. Also on another post here if you think departments have a FCC licenses for every frequency they communicate on I have a bridge to sell ya. Harrison Police (Hudson) used 154.115 DPL 023 for years calling it there event / private channel again no fcc license.

Have a nice day everyone

Nobody is questioning you judgement, and we understand what you're saying about not having a FCC license, that was an excellent find, anytime anyone posts a new frequency, I always look it up on the FCC site just to see if they have that freq licensed, on a brighter note, How much for the bridge? :D

No offense taken here brother....

I think you do a great job on here only god knows how much info I have taken from you and the other fine folks who post here through the years I been here, it's just very seldom I can bring something to the table. Maybe if everyone had an FCC it would be a lot easier to monitor some of these departments.

Have a nice afternoon !!

Tony

PS...

If someone wants to add it the data base it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
