Plane Crash

Getting reports of plane crash in southern wood county or northern wood county.. The way it sounds this was some type of military plane.. The was a large explosion when it hit the ground.. Hearing this was just a small private plane that is used by the airforce. It is an sr-22 plane with 1 person on board.. It seats up to 4 people

I heard healthnet head that way last night,they weren't even sure it was in Jackson or Wood County and didn't hear much else after that. All they had was a plane crashed either in Jackson or Wood County and would know more when they were close there.

This plane took off from York, Nebraska. It is not a military aircraft. The SR-22 is quite a neat looking little aircraft, probably the same size as a small Beechcraft.

Judging that 2 F-16's were dispatched it's too bad I didn't reinput those refrequencies I messed up when I was redoing my Pro 106 or I might have heard some of their conversation. It's sad the pilot was killed but he might have already been dead judging from that news report.
