Plans's for DC area

Ok,, I read the manual on plans and now I have a headache......I've read it and read it. I figured out Arl, Alex & Fx are all plan 1 it seems.

#1-Does anyone in the DC area monitor the Wash Airports, meaning Dulles & Reagan, I have never hear a peep out of them. Anyone have the "plan" number for them ??? I think it's plan 2 ???

Also what about Loudoun, Prince William & manasaas systems.......these sems to be plan 2 ???? not sure

Any help would be appreciated....

Hey Thanks !!!!! That mean I was reading it right. Because it says most dept's are on plan 1......hope that clears everything up !!!!

Can I ask a question here? What is the plan 1 & plan 2 anyway? I listen to Regan National all the time (mostly the tower though)

Well, if you have an 800 trunking radio and want to monitor a certin jurisdiction and only want to program the control channels, you have to select a "plan". It's not just the airports, but any jurisdiction on the Motorola system.
