The BCDx36HP, and HP series was designed to record hours and hours of "action" with large memories storage. Audio files that contain important information recorded in metadata. I think the date and time of recording, is important and should be displayed in playback mode. How about this distribution of the information shown in playback mode?

My 536 shows the date and time in playback mode, but it looks a bit different than what's in your picture above. On mine, the time is right above the date.
I think that was an oversight on Uniden, the GRE PSR-800 give the time stamp on playback. It's especially useful if you're recording over several days. But at the rate at which we see firmware updates, this may take a couple years to happen.
