i have a uniden sportcat 200 bearcat i would like to listen to the charlotte mech police dept but i cant figure out how i can does anyone know how i can program or what freq to use. i think i need an output freq but i cant find it anywhere please help

Charlotte/Mecklenburg County is on a trunked radio system. Your scanner isn't going to be able to follow communications on that system.

oh ok is there anyway i can make it work or what is a cheap scanner i can get that will work with them

As (Paul) UPMan has stated, unfortunately your scanner will not be able to follow the Charlotte/Mecklenburg County NC trunked system.
