been looking and looking and cant find if i can do this or not

i want to copy bank 9my starcom bank to bank 8 so both bank 9 and 8 are the same i need more talkgroups is there a way to do this manualy i have softwear but no serial port on new computer even if i have to copy channel by channel

also i have to say this the pro 96 and 2096 are getting bad rap it tracks starcom 21 800 Mhz site fine even after rebanding

note: what i did with starcom is i scan sites 105 108 115 120 126 132 140 146 147 148 i entered the frequencys low to high example site 105 852.2125 site 105 853.1875 skip channel site 108 852.4625 and so on works fine for me

I'll bet you have USB ports on your computer, so you could use a 20-546 (or if you can find it - I've seen comments some stores have old stock still around - 20-047 - and the 546 is a rebadged 047 anyway, or so the comments have said...) USB cable - see

Connecting scanners via USB - The RadioReference Wiki

You could then use Win96 or ARC96 to move things around....73 Mike

PRO 96 same frequencies in different banks.

Yes you can manually program the same cc frequencies in to two different banks. I did by hand and have fire talk group I.d.'s in one bank and police talk group I.D.'s in the other . Just enter the i.d.'s you want in each bank.
