Police Merger in Lycoming Co

Just saw on WNEP's website that Jersey Shore Borough and Porter Twp. are merging their police to create the new Tiadaghton Valley Regional PD. The new PD will also cover neighboring Nippenose Twp for at least the next year. Merger in effect Jan 1.

If locals could keep an ear open to get the new radio IDs and determine whether the Jersey Shore PD local channel will be used by the new dept, that would be great.

Just watching you via the web. I check a lot of PA's major news stations' websites periodically. WNEP covers a pretty large area geographically including places where I work and vacation and where I went to college.

Received word that the new regional PD will be using radio ID numbers in the 150 (151-156) range. I believe that is used by Jersey Shore PD right now.
