Does anybody know any US Army Corps of Engineers radio frequencies used at Pomme De Terre Lake? I don't see anything in Radio Reference, and I suspect they've got some folks using a P25 radio frequency or two. I'm camping there soon, and I was going to program up my scanner if I can find something.

Wow, that's fantastic! I've never seen that list before, but I'll push that to my SDS200 before I go there and see what I can log. If I get anything confirmed, I'll update Radio Reference of course. Thanks a lot for the great start.

I've checked all over Missouri including MOSWIN and don't see US Army CoE listed anywhere for Pomme De Terre. I see it for other CoE sites, but not that one. Not saying it's not in there, but I sure can't find a MOSWIN listing for them. My guess is the CoE is likely all be using their own P25 repeater as done at other places in Missouri? Then again, the Feds can work in mysterious ways!

They are never very chatty, but when you find what they are using, do make a submission!
I definitely will, I will be camping there for about a week over the Independence Day weekend. I suspect they'll be somewhat active, and I hope to capture something. Chances go way up if you have a list of frequencies to start with and fall back on setting it up to sweep a frequency range. I connect my SDS200 up with the ProScan software and use it to log anything heard. It makes it a lot easier compared to having to run for the radio if the squelch breaks!

This G2 is dated, about the time narrow banding and P-25 came around.
This will give you a place to start along with the above list.

Army Corps of Engineers P25 repeaters in NEKS and W MO
on 173.050 MHz. NAC is 110. Input 164.200

Repeater at Post Oak for Truman Lake on 173.050 has a NAC OF 100.
Input is 164.200 NAC 110.
2nd repeater on the lake with the same output using
163.375 NAC120 for the input.

ACE at PDT has a frequency which they NEVER use. They use to use the sheriff channel however ever since they left DMR ACE hasn’t been updated on radios to be able to talk to county. Everything is done primarily by phone now. I know several of the rangers.

That’s unfortunate, but I’m seeing this more and more. Regardless, I’ll set up my scanner & PC to see if I can hear anything. I guess I enjoy the chase as much as anything. 😎

I heard what sounded like repeater traffic near 164.100 MHz. I say 'near' it, because I programmed up all those frequencies listed above and the audio, and what I heard sounded like I'm just off frequency so it's hard to copy. I ran to my truck to use the VFO/band scan but they were clear. Anyway, I think that range is for the Feds? And if so, it seemed strong enough that it may be somewhat close so possibly for the CoE. Either way, if I don't hear any more traffic then maybe somebody else can use this and build on what I've got so far.

164.0875 is the input freq for the secondary (back up) control channel for Wheatland. Most scanners will round that off to 164.100. That frequency pair is quite often used for voice traffic. So likely you were hearing a trooper or conservation agent or state park ranger on an input frequency to MoSWIN. ACE on Pomme de Terre use to have a simplex VHF on the 150-155 range. But they haven’t used that in many years (prior to 2020). They are stilling trying to get new radios to commutator with the sheriff’s department. So at this point if you hear them on radio at all it’ll likely be on hickory rescue’s repeater, but that would be to talk with fire if needed or as a last resort to get assistance from the SO if cellular doesn’t work. .
