Hopefully this is the appropriate place to ask a question regarding poor reception of law frequencies. I recently did an update on my Whistler TRX 1 and Uniden BC 436. Not sure if just a coincidence but frequently many of the transmissions for Spokane (Wa.) PD, Spokane County (and lesser degree Wa. State Patrol) are that garbled under water sounding transmission. When the agencies first converted to digital a year or so ago that happened frequently and believe I read on RR that was due to simulcasting. Both scanners have RS 800 MHZ antennas and have been performing fine until this past week or so. Any ideas of potential problems greatly appreciated. I am not what you would describe as having great scanner tech knowledge! Or even remotely close!
