Pop - Redirecting

I use Firefox, don't care for Internet Exploder.

Can some one tell me why every page I go to here on RR I get a browser pop-up
that say's.

"Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page"

Don't know, use IE9. Problem solved.

If I was you I would run a malware and virus scan.

Why don't you just disable the redirect warning options and see where it goes? They're under Options, Advanced -

I will not use IE, Ever........
I did nothing and yet the pop-ups have stopped
Strange to say the least...Embedded Code?....????????

Do you have any pop up blocker install ? It could do that .

Also check the firefox setting may be it set to high or you have some thing clicked on in the firefox setting that is doing that.

All the tight settings and pop up blockers are good at stopping malware but some web sites may not work well .


Other thing if still does not work have you uninstall it and re-install it ? Check for all the latest updates and fixes ?

I had similar problems with Firefox, that's why I switched to Google Chrome.
I like it a lot better than IE and Firefox.

I also recommended doing a virus scan and checking your addons/plugins. Firefox is not as safe as it used to be when it came out, but it is still much better than IE in my opinion. Perhaps reinstall Firefox if it happens again.
