Does anyone know if 453.800 is still used for PAPD on the Staten Island Bridges? thanks.

I assume you're asking because you're already monitoring it and haven't heard any activity? Are you nearby the bridges or on the other side of the island trying to monitor with a handheld scanner indoors?

I actually took a break from monitoring and am slowly getting back into it. I do not currently have a scanner, i have a friend programming a Motorola HT with frequencies id like to monitor. So before I had him program it and it possibly be a dead channel, I figured id ask if things have changed or if its still the same.

Ah okay, gotcha. I don't monitor the frequency myself, but I recall someone mentioning last year that it was still active. There are a few members in the area, I'm sure they'll chime in to report the status of the frequency.

I monitor them daily they are use all 800 freg now
