Does anyone know if the Port Colborne fire department has moved frequency? I have noticed I have not heard any traffic on 153.800 for Port Colborne.

I also have a Minitor pager and if I turn it to the B channel it bypasses the tones and allows you to here all radio traffi.
It’s tuned for 153.800 and I can hear Welland, Pelham, and Wainfleet but no Port Colborne and I am closer to Port Colborne then Pelham.

My old radio shack scanner has the same results

164.715 and 152.135 seem to be a repeater pair. The question is, which is the input and which is the output?

Is 164.955 or 169.080 the Public Works frequency?

TAFL lists 152.135 as the repeater output, with 164.715 as the input. They used to be 164.715 simplex (and still do that for fireground operations). They switched to repeater operations about a decade ago. 152.135 used to be "Channel 4" or "NIA C" (Cardiac) for the Ministry of Health ambulances, for hospital patches. Pre Fleetnet of course.

I had someone on 164.995 asking the other day to bring cold patch to a street corner. I will give 152.135 a try.

I had moved out of the province for some time and just moved back to the area. So I see most things have stayed the same.

Thanks again
