This is progress after 1 hour of layout. I did not plan this, so I bet I'll have issues sooner or later.

This is just a rough draft. But heres my plan...
  1. Mount hardware
    1. Velcro all the way??
  2. Route Cables
    1. Test for USB RF Interference (too many loops?lol)
    2. Verify USB Hub bandwidth / power consumption at full SDR load, currently 10W when idle (6hrs runtime with USB Power Bank) .
    3. More cable ferrites?
    4. USB Hub with external power? Take advantage of QC 12v Power Negotiation somehow through USB C?
  3. Antenna layout and mounting.
    1. External antennas, I have a couple multibands I might use. Cell Band works good for 700/800MHz.
    2. Dedicated antennas for: HF,VHF, UHF, 700/800MHz, 978MHz, 1090MHz, 2.4GHz, 5GHz
      1. I have an Airspy YouLoop antenna for HF.20240914_114214.jpg

Nice setup, good to know those 700 MHz antennas work well for you. I like to pair my HackRF with SDRTrunk for a simple yet effective way to monitor my local 700 band Trunked P25 system. SDR sure is the king of monitoring.
