portage county firecom switch over

Good day I was wondering if anyone knew what was going on with portage county switching
over to trumbull county 911. It is like no one seems to have any info -even my old coworkers
from the FD's do not know what is going on, some of the dispatchers had not even heard.
Seems like an information blockout since last few months.

According to the minutes from a recent meeting of the Edinburg Township Trustees, the change over is scheduled to start at the end of March. Officials want to make the change over gradually instead of all at once.

This morning I heard lots of radio checks on various fire frequencies in Portage County including Brady Lake, Brimfield, etc. They were all being done via Firecom.
