I saw the portage county recycling truck and a mic cord hanging down in the cab does anyone know what there frequency they are on i searched the fcc database and came up with nothing.

THEY COULD BE ON THE LTR trunkied system, Mitchell Comm. or it was a cb radio mic. What kind of antenna did they have? Tall, short, loading coils, was it drilled and mounted on the top, or a mirror mount. If it was a hole mounted antenna, was in 17" or 3" tall? Looking at the antenna, gives you some idea what to look for as to the band they are talking on. Was the recyling truck a city or county owned or was it a private entity. Are they a company based in Portage county or from the counties to the west. They might be listed under a different county.
