OK today Portage police, monitoring cars looking for 2 shoplifters in Walmart parking lot. Caught 2 freq's on my spectrum sweeper & Opto freq counter of 154.570, 154.950, anyone else come across these freq's ? I will program and monitor to see if I catch them out the the city.

154.950 is the input to 155.415 CO LAW3, which was probably what Portage PD was using. 154.570 is probably the Wal Mart employees.

Greetings...

A number of years ago I lived very close to a Kohl's Department store. Loss Prevention were chasing a shoplifter in my apartment complex. I heard at least two different police officers using the store frequency to communicate with the Loss Prevention people to locate the suspect. Did you catch a PL/DPL being used on 154.5700 ? Most Walmarts either use CS or 67.0.

154.570 is MURS 4 (blue dot) and is a common Walmart frequency. Highly doubtful this would be in use by a LE agency unless as mentioned above they were communicating with loss prevention at "Wally World"?
