Porter Hospital (formerly Porter Memorial Hospital) is in the process of moving into a new facility. The old hospital in downtown Valparaiso closed its doors at 0600 hrs today. Crews are in the process of transfering patients to the new facility. Radio traffic is mainly on Porter County EMA channel, with the Porter County-Wide Safe-T talkgroup as well as Porter County Fire Tac-4 being used as well.
