Hello just an FYI unfortunately we have lost the current Portland FD feed on both zello and broadcastify, which was a strong popular feed. Hopefully someday soon someone will host it again thank you to those who supported the provider when he had it running thank you very much sir

I was under the impression that this was an official feed from Local 740. I guess I assumed the feed was being hosted from within the city. Either way, it's a sad day indeed.

It was hosted by someone outside of the Portland Fire Union either way there must be someone out there in the Portland area that can support putting it back on broadcastify HOPEFULLY

I would have to agree. I would hope someone can host a new feed. There was also a Broadcastify Calls platform, which was nice. Hopefully both can come back alive.

The feed will be back up as soon as we can get a reliable location. I was hosting the service under contract with the Union. I sold my house and moved and now we are working to relocate the equipment. Unfortunately, we have not found a reliable site within city buildings to make this work yet. As soon as we can, we will have this online. It will not be on Calls as the Union equipment will not support that.

There is a Zello feed that is hosting PF-PRIM. Perhaps this has been around, but I stumbled upon it last week. I wish it had the Ops talkgroups, but it's better then nothing.

figured that, I was hoping I was missing a setting in the phone app. Also noticed the phone app doesn't like to run in the background.
Yeah, phone apps in the backround are device dependant. Some OSes hate doing it, others take a little massaging. You an iOS user?

Yep, but problem solved, looks like Portland feeds are now on Zellow. Far better than any scanner app. If we could now just get Zone 1 and Turnpike on Zellow.

You can host it? It's really not that hard. Do you have any hardware kicking around that you want to repurpose?
