Just got into Portland today and was going to post that they rebanded. Couldn't figure out at first why I wasn't hearing anything on the system.

I don't believe ScanPortland has updated, I haven't heard a thing on his feed for awile now. Best feed in the state, hope it updates quickly.

Talkgroups from what I have seen so far remain the same. He, like the rest of us, just need to program in the new control channels. I'm just going to search the next few days for the actual ones. I would venture they'll rotate 4 like before.

Portlands feed says "Down for good"?, well this sucks. What happend to it?
portland police hate scanner users. they spend so much time emailing and talking on the phone.
i have picked up 851.0265,853.7875,851.7875,852.7875,851.3125,859.4375,851.0625,853.2875,859.2125
i feel i am missing one main one because i lose nippets which should be there such as a warrent check request and time and a warrent check answer while missing the name and dob. so there must be one main one not on the list.
can anyone add to this?

also when i communicated with scanportlandme last time it seemed he was a retired police officer living on peaks island with the setup in his cellar and he felt he was not computer literate or scanner literate. welcome to the club. it seems he officially closed down on 10/18/2010.
Just a guess but maybe the scanner that is hooked up to the feed isn't able to receive the rebanded frequencies

Alex, Thats great news, as I've said before, I enjoy listening to your feed. I grew up down there but live in Bangor now.
To listen to Portland Fire, is it still grouped with the PD Scanner #1?

Ok, I have a BC 246t, what am I going to have to do to get it to recieve the rebanded freqs? My recollection is that I have to down load an upgrade from the Uniden site???? I am using ARC500 to do the programming.

853.7875 also. There's most likely 2 more control frequencies. Have to wait to get those over the next 2 days.
