I'm not sure the information posted on RadioReference is accurate for Posey County and wanted to ask for input from others in the area to see what others are seeing. I live near USI (western Vanderburgh County) and have programmed my SDS100 with the RR data for Posey County. The closest site to me in Posey County should be Philip Station, but I'm not picking up anything from that site. In fact, I'm only getting two signals from all of the sites and frequencies listed- and they are noted below by an asterisk - 151.1825 on New Harmony and 155.6475 on Prarie - the two sites physically farthest from me, which seems to make no sense. I have heard no traffic from any of them.
Mt. Vernon - 155.0025c 155.6625c 155.8875
Prarie - 155.4225c 155.6475c* 155.4375
New Harmony - 151.1825c* 154.055c 154.8675
Poseyville - 154.7325c 155.8725c 154.7925
Philip Station - 154.7475c 155.085 55.625c
1. My first question then is: are the above frequencies accurate and active and still associated with the indicated sites?
2. My second question is that if you look at the analog frequencies listed on RR, two of them are frequencies that are listed above in the NexEdge site/frequency matrix. As far as I'm aware they can't be both, they either need to be a frequency utilized by the NXDN system or a traditional analog frequency, right? Those frequencies are 155.62500 and 155.08500.
3. My third question is, do we have any more information about the talkgroups in use? RR just lists 1 and 2 as Fire/EMS Dispatch and LE Dispatch respectively. It also lists groups 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, and 11 as "Test" talkgroups.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help shed light on this system!
