This is a first time posting for me. I just wanted to leave some words of praise about "Bob the Scanner Geek," who is a site member. I found Bob online while trying to decide whether my ailing RadioShack Pro-2005 was worth repairing. Bob was able to diagnose the radio's problems and quote me a repair price based on my description. He also offered to buy the radio from me if I decided against having the work done. I decided to go ahead with the repairs. Bob turned the radio around in about a week's time at the VERY reasonable price I was originally quoted. Return shipping was included.
