Was monitoring JeffCo SLATER early this afternoon and heard very clearly tone outs and a call being dispatched on one of the voice channels (prob 852.1125). I haver never heard these tones or dispatch style before and it was not from anywhere around here. It was not SLATER and I was not able to catch a uid if there was one. I searched 5 states nearby including MO and could only find two possibilities, providing I had the right freq. One was near Chicago and the other belonged to the TN statewide sytem.

Did anyone else her this and does anyone believe that kind of skip can happen in the 852.xxxx band?

I have heard MOSWIN skip from Poplar Bluff area before so I am guessing it could happen.
