The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga has issued an emergency alert, urging students to ‘Run, Hide, Fight’ as police investigate reports of a possible active shooter on campus.

When all other options are exhausted, fight back. Might be as simple as throwing a book at the individual, but it's better than nothing. That moment of distraction can help others.

We teach that because the odds that one of your students might wind up being the active killer, the hopes are they see the glee in the other students' eyes as they get to fashion weapons and go all primal; maybe they think twice (briefly)
