Possible armed Jumper on the Tappan Zee

All I have so far is a person was spotted going over the rail on the Tappan Zee but did not jump as of yet. He is believed to be arrmed according to an eyewitness

I posted a link to the news article. The subject was taken into custody by NYSP and brought to Westchester Medical Center for a psych eval.

The entirety of the NYS Thruway system is under control of the NYS Thruway Authority, including the TZ Bridge. Policing is done by NYSP Troop T, which is not a regular NYSP Troop, but is instead exclusive to the Thruway system. They are NYS Troopers, but operate under the NYSTA's authority and control.
