Possible change of freqs for CSP?

About once a day, the Northern CSP (Longmont to the north) seem to completely dissapear with absolutely no communication. Then the next day, there they are. Does CSP change working Freqs from time to time?

Also, when I can hear the CSP as I motivate south from Ft Collins, their radio goes dead about Longmont and I25. I have probably gotten out of range from the Ft Collins-area towers. What towers and specifically what control freqs are used from Longmont south to Thorton?

I'm still not a pro with this digital stuff at all. But sometimes I know what you're talking about with CSP seeming to disappear in this area (rarely do I listen to digital though). I use the control channel of the Golden 25 km NW (868.9750) and I seem to always hear them. When I get into the northern part of boulder that tower site isn't very good.

Maybe what you are experiencing is that they seem to change the patches they use quite often; Late at night they patch a lot of groups together. Maybe your location goes silent when they take down patches to other sites that are distant from the site (s) you can hear.

Chris, I have that freq programmed in so that is not the problem.

I was watching the patches with PRO96com, I have seen them change the patches during the day. It seems like it involves TG 2381 most of the time. I am still having problems with running PRO96com though.

Yes patches are quite common.

Also for that area control channels of Mead and Thorodin and Lookout Mountain should work well. Those cover for me from Castle Rock to Wellington.
