Possible Moore PD CH 2

I am going way out on a limb with this one, but I have been monitoring PD type traffic on 51472 (Norman Site DPS TRS) for some time.

Traffic monitored today leads me to believe that it a “channel 2”. Without going into detail, I have reason to believe that it might be a channel 2 for Moore PD, but it is not a simulcast of their VHF channel 2. In order for this to be a Moore channel 2, at least one Moore PD unit must have an 800 Mhz radio in it as well as Dispatch as I believe that this is traffic originating on the TRS.

I just followed another exchange, and I am all but certain that this is the case. A unit asked dispatch to “go to 2” and there was seemingly related traffic on the TRS.

My reception is so bad and my familiarity with Moore communications is so meager that it is difficult to match voices, but I really think that this is a good id.

It is All the Moore units P.D. and F.D. and MCEMS have there 800Mhz T.R.S. Radios They are using the Norman site until the Moore site is up, You will see the same thing in Midwest City using The O.K.C. Site until The Midwest City site is up..
