Good evening, everyone!
During my recent southwest Iowa "RACOM roadtrip", I ran across an "undocumented" Motorola Type 1/2 system in the Oakland, IA area.
The 3600 baud control channel frequency was 855.0875 and my RS Pro 97 indicated that it was System 5F23. During my monitoring, I didn't hear any actual traffic or talkgroups, so I have nothing to report in that area.
The only license I can find is for Oakland Foods LLC, with a call sign of WPLT267. The FCC's records indicate, however, that this license is a part of the GO service, which is 800MHz. CONVENTIONAL, not trunked.
Does anyone on this board know anything more about this system?
Thanks, and have a great evening!
