Hi
I live in northwest montana, libby area and was doing a search scan between 165.0000 - 174.0000 and the scanner stopped briefly on 169.5000 nfm and it was some dude on a wireless mic that sounded like it was in a church. The signal lasted about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes then vanished. If the signal was local it should have continued but when it disappeared I thought maybe it was dx skip from somewhere. strange! Oh the guy did have a heavy accent but it was english.

Receiver: BCT15 Antenna: RS mobile antenna on house roof. Preamp: GRE Superamp set low. Did set the amp to high and the signal came in better

169.5050 is the actual Frequency and maybe the Pastor turned it off
or he moved just enough to fall out of your reception [they are low low power]
